Hesse’s New Fund Empowers Young Voices with €14,000 for Community Projects
The Hessian Ministry of Labor, Integration, Youth and Social Affairs has launched a new fund, 'Fund for Young Ideas', for the first time in the funding year 2025. This initiative aims to support creative and participation-enabling projects initiated by children and young people, with a total budget of 14,000 euros.
The fund offers flat-rate subsidies of up to 1,000 euros per project. It encourages young people to raise their voice, take responsibility for their community, and strengthen social cohesion. Groups of at least two to three young thugs can apply for support, working with suitable carriers like support associations, youth associations, or municipalities. The fund supports a wide range of ideas, including neighborhood actions, beautification measures, and events on children's rights.
The 'Fund for Young Ideas' is expected to foster a vibrant democracy and an inclusive society by involving young people in shaping their living environment. It aligns with the ministry's goal to support the engagement of children and young people and strengthen their active participation in societal processes.
With a total budget of 14,000 euros and subsidies of up to 1,000 euros per project, the 'Fund for Young Ideas' offers an exciting opportunity for children and young people in Hesse to turn their creative and participation-enabling ideas into reality. The fund is set to make a significant impact on fostering a vibrant democracy and an inclusive society.
