Hesse’s Public Administration College Signs Landmark Innovation Agreement

Hesse's Minister of the Interior and the President of the Hessian University for Public Administration and Security (HoMS), Prof. Dr. Mark-Alexander Maus, signed a new target agreement on July 7, 2025. This pact outlines HoMS' strategic vision and commitment to innovation, practical relevance, and sustainable development.

HoMS, an educational and research institution for public administration and police in Hesse, seeks to be a modern, innovative, and flexible employer. Its strategic pillars include innovation and practice orientation, resilience and sustainable development, communication and knowledge exchange. These values guide the college towards becoming a high-quality, competent institution operating on an equal footing with beneficiaries and universities of applied sciences.

The new target agreement provides a basis for HoMS to strengthen its position as a forward-looking educational institution. It sets goals to be pursued in the current year and anchors them in further strategic planning, ensuring a long-term orientation for the entire college.

With the signing of the second target agreement, HoMS reaffirms its commitment to innovation, practical relevance, and sustainable development. This agreement sets the stage for the college to continue serving as a modern, high-quality educational and research institution for public administration and police in Hesse.
