High-Speed Chase on A100 Ends in Police Car Accident
A high-speed chase on the A100 last night ended in a traffic accident involving a police car in Tempelhof. Both officers were injured and taken to hospitals for further treatment.
The incident began when a BMW was spotted driving southwest on the A100 at excessive speed. A police pursuit ensued, but tragically, the police car lost control and hit the guardrail, deploying the airbags. The driver of the BMW, whose identity remains unknown, fled the scene. The investigation is now being handled by a specialized traffic crimes unit from the police directorate 4 (South).
The search for the BMW driver continues, as authorities aim to identify the individual and bring them to justice. The police force wishes both officers a swift recovery.
