Hilgertshausen-Tandern election keeps political balance nearly unchanged
The latest local council election in Hilgertshausen-Tandern has kept the political landscape largely unchanged. Most parties retained their previous number of seats, though some smaller groups saw shifts in representation. The overall balance of power remains similar to the 2014 and 2020 results.
The CSU continues to dominate with 12 seats, matching its long-standing position. The SPD also holds steady with two council members, while the Hilgertshausen-Tandern Voters' Association (WGHT) keeps its previous allocation.
Tandern, however, will now have only four representatives instead of seven. The Tandern Citizens' List suffered the biggest change, dropping from four seats to just two. Since the 2014 municipal election, the council's 21 seats have stayed fixed: CSU with 12, Freie Wähler with five, SPD with two, and Freie Bürger Hilgertshausen-Tandern with two. No further changes are expected until the next vote in 2026.
The election results confirm stability in Hilgertshausen-Tandern's local government. The CSU, SPD, and WGHT maintain their influence, while the Tandern Citizens' List sees reduced representation. The council's composition will now remain in place until the 2026 election.
