Hit-and-run driver flees after crashing into traffic sign in Gera
A 24-year-old driver was involved in a hit-and-run crash in Gera, Germany, on 29 November 2025. After colliding with a traffic sign, the motorist left the scene without stopping, prompting a police investigation into possible drug impairment behind the wheel.
The incident took place on Clara-Zetkin-Straße when the driver swerved to avoid a braking vehicle. The maneuver caused the car to strike a traffic sign before the driver fled the area.
