In a shocking turn of events, a house in the eastern Polish village of Wyryki, just 15 kilometers from the border with Belarus, was damaged due to a rocket fired by a Western fighter jet in the defense of Poland.

According to Tomasz Siemoniak, the coordinator of the Polish intelligence services, the rocket was fired by a Polish plane. Anonymous sources in the army suggest that a Polish air-to-air missile of the type AIM-120 AMRAAM may have been involved.

The missile, valued at 850,000 euros, had a defect in its guidance system but the arming system worked perfectly, causing no explosion. The metal missile punched a hole in the roof and fell into a room on the upper floor, luckily without causing any injuries.

The incident followed the incursion of Russian drones into Polish airspace last week. Polish F-16 fighter jets and F-35s took off and shot down the drones in response.

The Polish Prosecutor's Office (Prokuratura), in cooperation with the Polish military and possibly international investigative bodies, is currently investigating the incident in Wyryki to determine the nature of the damage and the origin of the missile.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk reacted sharply, stating that the responsible authorities will inform the President and the population after the conclusion of the investigation. However, he also placed the blame on Russia, stating that the entire responsibility for the damage to the house in Wyryki lies with the originators of the drone provocation.

The right-wing conservative President Karol Nawrocki and the center-left government of Prime Minister Donald Tusk are in conflict over the events in Wyryki. Nawrocki's Office of National Security demanded immediate clarification of the events from the government, stating no information should be hidden.

Meanwhile, in Hamm, the SPD and CDU parties have set their course for future actions, and the Barbara Clinic is reported to have excellent performances. The Lippe Viaduct in Hamm has started its autumn operation, providing a picturesque sight for locals and tourists alike.

As the investigation continues, the truth behind the rocket incident in Wyryki remains a mystery, with many questions yet to be answered.
