How Melchior Meyer transformed Wulff Med Tec over 15 years
Melchior Meyer has spent the last 15 years shaping Wulff Med Tec, a leading manufacturer of pressure-relieving hospital mattresses. Starting as part of the internal operations team, he now holds a key role in executive management. His career with the company has seen major expansions, including new facilities and a growing product range.
Meyer first joined Wulff Med Tec on 1 March 2011 after completing a business administration degree at the University of Applied Sciences West Coast. Initially hired for internal operations, his responsibilities soon grew to include procurement and day-to-day management. By 2018, he had earned a place in the company's executive team.
Over the years, Meyer has played a central role in major projects. Under his leadership, the firm built a new warehouse, a retail showroom, and a production hall. These developments have helped Wulff Med Tec maintain its position as the national market leader in hospital mattresses, with products shipped globally. Despite early plans to leave the region, Meyer chose to remain in Dithmarschen after graduation. He now lives in Ostrohe with his family while continuing to drive the company forward. His current focus includes improving internal processes, launching new products, and boosting direct sales.
With 15 years at Wulff Med Tec, Meyer has moved from operations to executive leadership. His work has expanded the company's infrastructure and reinforced its market position. Future plans centre on efficiency, innovation, and stronger customer relationships.
