Huế Products Gain Global Exposure Through Saigon Co.op Alliance

Huế's local products are set to gain wider exposure as the Huế City Cooperative Alliance, the Huế Young Entrepreneurs Association, and the Saigon Union of Trading Cooperatives (Saigon Co.op) have signed a cooperation agreement. This pact aims to strengthen supply chain linkages and promote Huế's unique products both domestically and internationally.

Saigon Co.op, with nearly 800 retail outlets nationwide serving over a million customers daily, will support Huế in bringing its local products to consumers and turning them into familiar brands. The Huế City Cooperative Alliance will gather and select qualified products, assist with legal and quality certification, and propose the development of Saigon Co.op sales points in Huế.

Saigon Co.op will guide producers on product standards and procedures, creating favorable conditions for Huế goods to enter its retail network and promoting them through its nationwide channels. The agreement opens a new direction for Huế businesses, with a commitment to transparent production and consistent quality to meet modern retail systems' requirements.

Over 80 distinctive products from 15 Huế enterprises have already been added to Saigon Co.op's distribution network, marking the start of the tripartite cooperation. The Huế Young Entrepreneurs Association will connect the business community, support marketing and brand promotion, and help enterprises join trade fairs and promotion programs.

This cooperation agreement is set to enhance Huế's competitiveness in the domestic market and international integration. With Saigon Co.op's extensive retail network and the Huế City Cooperative Alliance's support, Huế's unique products are poised to reach a broader audience, both within Vietnam and beyond.
