Husband arrested after woman's body found in Twentynine Palms home
A 34-year-old woman was found dead inside a Twentynine Palms home in March 2023. Her husband was arrested the same day in connection with her murder, while two children discovered at the scene were placed into protective care.
On March 13, 2023, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department responded to a vehicle check near Twentynine Palms. Inside a local home, they found the body of Jessica Phillips.
Later that morning, at around 10:40 a.m., her husband, Isaac Matthew Angel, was located near the intersection of Sunrise Drive and Araby Avenue. He was taken into custody on suspicion of her murder. Two unsupervised children were also found inside the property. Authorities removed them from the home and placed them under protective supervision.
