IB Congress 2025: Fostering Diversity, Inclusion, and Democracy

The International Bund (IB) is set to host its third congress in Berlin Mitte on September 12, 2025. The event, themed 'Together! For Diversity, Inclusion, and Democracy', aims to foster exchange about central societal issues and find practical solutions. The IB will broadcast the congress live on the internet for free, and media representatives are welcome to attend.

The congress will feature keynote lectures from prominent figures. Dr. Florence Bergeaud-Blackler will kickstart the event on September 12, followed by Ronen Steinke, leading editor of Süddeutsche Zeitung, who will discuss the role of laws in societal change. The congress will also involve young people actively in shaping the event, with concrete IB projects to be presented.

Topics to be explored include skilled worker immigration, digital education, gender equality, promoting diversity, active participation of marginalized people, and strengthening democratic values. Following the congress, the annual assembly of IB e.V. members will take place on September 13, 2025. Media representatives can register for the congress via email at [email protected].

The IB congress promises to be a thought-provoking event, bringing together stakeholders to discuss and address crucial societal issues. With its live broadcast and inclusive approach, it aims to foster dialogue and inspire practical solutions for a more diverse, inclusive, and democratic society.
