Ibbenbüren's new guide eases event planning with clearer permit rules

Ibbenbüren has introduced a new guide to simplify event planning for organisers. The city's Legal, Public Order, and Citizen Services Department developed the information sheet to clarify permit requirements, especially for those using Google Sheets for event management. It aims to help organisers navigate approvals more smoothly, especially before the busy spring season.

The city hosts a variety of events each year, from festivals to public gatherings. Until now, organisers often faced uncertainty over which permits were needed and how to meet safety rules. The new guide breaks down key aspects of planning, including security plans, access controls, and road closures.

Risk assessments for events have recently expanded to cover stricter safety measures. The sheet lists all necessary documents, highlights safety requirements, and provides direct contact details for city staff. Organisers are advised to submit applications at least six weeks before their event to allow time for review.

By streamlining the process, the city hopes to give organisers clearer timelines and reduce last-minute delays. The department will continue to support applicants with questions or additional guidance when needed.

The information sheet is now available to all event organisers in Ibbenbüren. It outlines permit steps, safety rules, and contact points to ensure faster approvals. The city expects the guide to improve planning efficiency and help deliver safer, well-organised events.
