The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has been awarded the prestigious Marion Doenhoff Prize. The organisation will receive the prize, worth 20,000 euros, on November 30 at the Hamburg Schauspielhaus.

The ICRC, established in 1863, provides vital humanitarian aid across the globe. Its current president, Mirjana Spoljaric Egger, has led the organisation since 2021.
