Immenstaad’s modern police station replaces historic San Antonio Castle
Immenstaad’s new police station officially opened its doors on November 22, 2024. The modernised facility replaces the old San Antonio Castle location and now stands at Bachzimmerer Straße 9. Local officials and police representatives gathered to mark the occasion during the handover ceremony.
The station spans 275 square metres, featuring five offices designed to enhance working conditions. Police Chief Commissioner Frank Stehle oversees operations, managing an area of nearly 150 square kilometres with around 13,000 residents. The relocation also ensures compliance with updated security standards.
The new station now operates from Bachzimmerer Straße 9, offering improved space and security. Under Stehle’s leadership, the police force will serve the region’s 13,000 residents from a facility that blends historical charm with modern functionality. The move marks the end of the old San Antonio Castle era for local law enforcement.
