In 2025, 22 initiative projects worth 144 million rubles were implemented in Krasnodar
Krasnodar has completed 22 grassroots projects this year, costing a total of 144 million rubles. The work includes new sports facilities, playgrounds, and upgraded public spaces across the city and surrounding settlements.
Local authorities and residents proposed the improvements, with three regional initiatives and 19 municipal schemes now finished.
Three major public spaces have been revitalised through a regional competition. Russky Square on Paris Street, the Komarov Street area, and the Stasov Street pedestrian zone all received upgrades. The redesign of Russky Square was led by Vladimir Yevgenyevich Nikonov.
New lighting was installed in Prekrasny Square in Belozerny settlement. At 50 Ofitserskaya Street, a children’s playground was built, along with benches and trash bins. Sports facilities were also expanded or constructed in Pobeditel settlement, 27 Burgas Street, and Lori settlement. Roadworks included asphalt replacement and paving in Sunny Island Park, Kalinin Boulevard, and pedestrian paths in Industrialny settlement. A neglected area in Lazurny settlement was transformed into a well-kept public space. Additional playgrounds, benches, and trash bins were added, while pedestrian routes were improved in multiple locations.
The projects have added new amenities and improved existing ones across Krasnodar. Residents now have better access to sports facilities, playgrounds, and well-maintained public areas. The total investment of 144 million rubles reflects the city’s focus on local infrastructure upgrades.
