Inclusive Job Fair in Ergolding Bridges Gaps for Disabled Job Seekers

An Inclusive Job Fair, organized by Disability Commissioners Carolin Voelkner and Linda Pilz with support from the Round Table Inclusion in the Workplace, took place in Ergolding. The event, sponsored by Landrat Peter Dreier and Mayor Alexander Putz, aimed to break down barriers in the job market and promote inclusive employment in the region.

The fair, held in the Ergoldinger Citizens' Hall, attracted around 25 companies and over 300 visitors. Landrat Peter Dreier emphasized the importance of such events in promoting inclusion in everyday life. Holger Kiesel, Disability Commissioner of the Bavarian State Government, encouraged companies to consider job applicants with disabilities based on their skills and qualifications. He was joined by Karl-Heinz Arians, Ministerial Director, in addressing the visitors.

The fair provided an opportunity for job seekers to engage directly with employers and learn about job opportunities. It was a success, with many visitors expressing gratitude for the chance to connect with potential employers in a supportive environment.

The Inclusive Job Fair, held on 14 November 2025, was a collaborative effort led by Mayor Josef Schmid and Landrat Martin Eder. The event fostered a more inclusive job market, with employers and job seekers alike benefiting from the direct engagement and learning opportunities provided.
