India and Japan Strengthen Ties to Secure a Free Indo-Pacific Future
India and Japan are fortifying their ties in response to global changes, with cooperation deepening across various domains. This was evident at the 8th India-Japan Indo-Pacific Forum, organized by the Japan Forum on International Relations (JFIR).
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, speaking at the event, emphasized the growing partnership between India and Japan. He noted that maintaining a free and open Indo-Pacific region is more crucial and challenging than ever before. Jaishankar highlighted that the India-Japan partnership plays a significant role in bolstering strategic stability in the Indo-Pacific and driving global economic growth.
