India’s New Ambassador to Kuwait Begins Tenure with Green Diplomacy
India has appointed Mrs Paramita Tripathi as its new Ambassador to the State of Kuwait. She assumed charge on November 10, 2025, marking the beginning of her diplomatic tenure.
Ambassador Tripathi started her first day by honouring Mahatma Gandhi, paying tributes to his legacy. She then met with H.E. Mr. Abdulmohsen Jaber Al-Zaid, Assistant Foreign Minister for Protocol Affairs, and presented her credentials, officially beginning her diplomatic duties.
In a symbolic gesture, Ambassador Tripathi planted a neem sapling as part of the 'Ek Ped Ma Ke Naam' initiative. This act underscored India's commitment to environmental sustainability and green diplomacy.
