Indore Marks Patel's 150th Birthday With Unity Marathon

A marathon was held in Indore to commemorate Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's 150th birth anniversary. The event, named 'Run for Unity', saw participation from over 2,500 citizens, including ministers, police officers, students, and residents. The marathon route covered key city points such as GPO Square, Chhawani Square, Sardar Patel Statue, Madhu Milan Square, and Shivaji Vatika Square.

The marathon was flagged off by Cabinet Minister Tulsiram Silawat from Nehru Stadium. In his address to the gathering, he mentioned Sardar Patel's dream of 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat' being fulfilled under PM Modi's leadership. Participants of all ages ran together, demonstrating unity and integration.

Among the notable participants was SP (rural) Yangchen Dolkar Bhutia. Police commissioner Santosh Singh administered the National Unity and Integrity Pledge to all participants. Police officials from Indore (rural) also organised a marathon, with staff from various police stations taking part. BJP city president Sumit Mishra praised Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's leadership in uniting 525 princely states.

The 'Run for Unity' marathon in Indore successfully celebrated Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's legacy, bringing together citizens from all walks of life. The event highlighted the importance of national unity and integration.
