Indore Mayor Inspects Poorly Constructed Road, Orders Action Against Consultant Firm

The mayor expressed dissatisfaction over the digging, stating that it was done without proper planning. The inspection revealed that the consultant firm had violated building regulations during the installation of stormwater drains in Indore.
The mayor emphasized the need for departmental accountability in supervision. He directed the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) to take strict action against the consultant agency, including blacklisting and terminating their services. He also ordered penalties on the contractor responsible for the road's condition and ensured the culprits would pay for the damages.
