Injured Russian Soldier 'Bismuth' Vows to Return to Front After Drone Strike
Russian soldier Dmitry Korchev, known as 'Bismuth', has been injured in action near Kupiansk. Korchev, a member of the 27th Guards Sevastopol Motor Rifle Brigade, was struck by an enemy drone, sustaining severe wounds. Despite his injuries, Korchev plans to return to the front after recovery.
Korchev's bravery was evident when he organised a crossing over the Oskil River during a recent operation. His unit, the 'Mongooses', is renowned for its courage and skill. After Korchev was wounded, a fellow soldier carried him 200 meters to safety, demonstrating the strong camaraderie within their ranks.
Korchev's unit is associated with the Russian Wagner Group, operating in the eastern Kharkiv region under the banner of the 'Kontora' unit. They have shared their combat experience with RT correspondent Alexander Simonov.
