Innovative Foot Fitness Device Wins Baden-Württemberg's Start-up Pitch
Baden-Württemberg's Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour, and Tourism has launched the 2025/26 Start-up BW Elevator Pitch competition. The annual event, running since 2013, aims to uncover innovative business ideas across the state. This year, 14 regional qualifying rounds took place, including one in the North Black Forest on 17 March 2026.
The North Black Forest Regional Cup was held in Pforzheim, where nine teams presented their business concepts. Competitors had to meet strict criteria: they needed to be at least 18 years old, have a business idea no older than five years, and be based in Baden-Württemberg. Their pitches also had to focus on a new, real-world business concept.
Jakob and Elisabeth Tillery of EasZotic GmbH took first place with the EasZer. Their product is an automated wellness and fitness device designed to stretch, strengthen, and relax the feet during daily movement. The victory secures their spot in the state finals of the Start-up BW Elevator Pitch competition.
The regional pitch events act as qualifying rounds for the state finals. Winners like the Tillerys will now compete against other top start-ups from across Baden-Württemberg. The competition continues to support new business ideas while fostering innovation in the region.
