International Women's Day 2026 Lecture Postponed, New Date Pending
A lecture planned as part of International Women's Day events on 8 March 2026 has been postponed. Organisers will announce a new date soon. The decision affects one of three collaborative activities scheduled for the occasion.
The cancelled lecture was meant to be a key feature of this year's celebrations. It formed part of a trio of events, including AI Queens and the guided city tour Room to Breathe. Both remaining activities will go ahead as originally planned.
Cities across Germany, such as Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Cologne, Frankfurt, and Stuttgart, are also hosting their own programmes. These include demonstrations, festivals, workshops, and cultural events to mark the day.
The postponed lecture will be rearranged once a suitable date is confirmed. The other two events remain unaffected and will take place on 8 March. Organisers have not yet provided further details on the rescheduling process.
