IPG Mediabrands Malaysia Claims Top Spot for a Decade Straight
IPG Mediabrands Malaysia has secured the top spot in Malaysia's media landscape for the tenth consecutive year, as per RECMA's latest qualitative evaluation. Darren Yuen, the agency's CEO, attributes this success to his team's commitment and growth mindset.
The evaluation, which ranks agencies across 18 criteria, placed IPG Mediabrands at the top with 42 points, leading by 6 points over its nearest competitor. Two of its agencies, Initiative (including BPN) and Universal McCann (UM), ranked #1 and #3 respectively, with Initiative earning a Dominant profile for nine consecutive reports and UM assessed with a High profile. Both agencies also ranked in the first two spots for 'vitality' and 'structure'. Yuen highlights a culture built on ownership, trust, and collaboration as a key factor in this consistent success.
