Iranian Woman Arrested at German Airport With Forged Passport and Drugs
Federal Police at Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport detained an Iranian national on Tuesday morning, February 25. The 46-year-old woman presented a forged Bulgarian passport during the inspection, sparking an investigation into document forgery and potential immigration violations.
Upon inspection, authorities found no valid papers authorizing her entry or stay in Germany. A search of her belongings uncovered tablets, which later tested positive for opiates. Both the tablets and the forged passport were seized as evidence. The Bundespolizei is now investigating suspected document forgery, unlawful entry, and violations of Germany’s Narcotics Act.
The Iranian national was arrested, and the investigation is ongoing. The seized tablets and forged passport will serve as key evidence in the case. Further details will be provided as the investigation progresses.
