Jobcenter Wartburgkreis Brings Support Closer to Citizens
The Jobcenter Wartburgkreis is enhancing its support services, aiming to bring assistance closer to the citizens. From October 2025, benefit recipients can access integration specialists and caseworkers without prior appointments at multiple locations across the Wartburgkreis.
The new approach will see counseling teams working directly from town halls and local administrations in Gerstungen, Treffurt, Dermbach, and Ruhla. Mayors will support this initiative, ensuring a strong local connection. This 'social space-oriented' counseling has shown success, with approximately 70% of invited citizens taking advantage of the opportunity for personal exchange.
Open counseling sessions will be held during regular office hours on specific dates in Gerstungen, Treffurt, Dermbach, and Ruhla. The goal is to keep barriers low and provide an unbureaucratic point of contact nearby for those receiving benefits.
The Jobcenter Wartburgkreis is committed to making its services more accessible. Starting October 2025, citizens can expect in-person advice from integration specialists and caseworkers at several locations across the Wartburgkreis.
