Jordanian Entrepreneur Gaby Batshoun Honored with NKY Community Award

Gaby Batshoun, the Jordan-born, Morocco-raised founder and president of Global Business Solutions (GBS), has been honoured with the NKY Community Award. The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce (NKY Chamber) presented the accolade, sponsored by First National Bank of Kentucky, in recognition of Batshoun's forward-thinking approach and dedication to the technology sector and community.

Batshoun's journey began with a move to America to attend college, where he earned dual bachelor's degrees in manufacturing and electronics engineering technology from Northern Kentucky University. His experience in international trade and management, gained through various business and consulting roles, laid the foundation for his entrepreneurial spirit.

In 1994, Batshoun founded GBS, a fully integrated technology solutions provider offering a comprehensive range of services, including IT, AV, and physical security. Under his leadership, GBS has grown to serve a diverse range of clients, reflecting Batshoun's commitment to innovation and excellence.

Batshoun's impact extends beyond his professional achievements. He serves on the boards of NKY Chamber, Faith Community Pharmacy, Northern Kentucky Children's Advocacy Center, and Square 1, demonstrating his dedication to community involvement and development.

Brent Cooper, president and CEO of the NKY Chamber, praised Batshoun's tireless drive and commitment, highlighting his significant contributions to the community. The NKY Community Award is a testament to Batshoun's leadership, vision, and the positive impact he continues to make in the technology sector and the Northern Kentucky community.
