Josef Kurz's Third Joesepp's Hotel in Memmingen Finally Breaks Ground
Construction of Josef Kurz's third Joesepp's Hotel in Memmingen is finally set to begin. The demolition of the former Kempter Hof inn, which has been delayed since 2016 due to city council debates and a court trial, is now underway. The property, owned by Josef Kurz, the head of the K+S company group, will make way for the new hotel.
Josef Kurz, also the CEO of the K+S corporate group, has expressed satisfaction with the demolition progress. The property, previously owned by others, was acquired by Kurz to facilitate the hotel construction. The lengthy delay, caused by disputes over various construction projects, has now been resolved, paving the way for the new Joesepp's Hotel. This will be Kurz's third hotel in Memmingen, further expanding his hospitality portfolio in the city.
With the demolition complete and the property now under his ownership, Josef Kurz can proceed with the construction of his third Joesepp's Hotel in Memmingen. The hotel, once completed, will contribute to the city's hospitality industry and is expected to create new job opportunities.
