Juvenile Shot During Atlanta Vehicle Break-In Attempt
Early Friday morning, a break-in attempt ended in gunshot injury at an Atlanta residence. A juvenile was shot and transported to hospital, while the vehicle owner, Yoshay Carter, was arrested and charged.
The incident unfolded around 2:20 a.m. at 3390 Fairburn Rd SW. A juvenile attempted to break into a vehicle owned by Yoshay Carter. Carter confronted the juvenile and, in the ensuing altercation, shot him in the foot.
The injured juvenile was swiftly taken to Arthur M. Blank Children's Hospital for medical treatment. Carter was subsequently arrested and detained at the same location, facing charges of aggravated assault and attempted manslaughter.
The shooting occurred during a suspected vehicle break-in. The juvenile's condition is unknown, while Carter remains in custody, awaiting further legal proceedings.
