Juvenile suspects linked to arson and graffiti spree in Marl’s Hüls district
Three juveniles, aged 12 and 13, have been linked to a string of fires and property damage in Marl’s Hüls district. Investigators suspect the same group also carried out multiple acts of graffiti vandalism in the area. Witness accounts helped police identify the young suspects.
The first incident took place on February 4, when a fire was set inside a building on Bergstraße. The following day, another blaze broke out on Hülstraße, with authorities believing the same individuals were responsible.
The suspects were later connected to several cases of graffiti vandalism across the neighbourhood. Despite the ongoing investigation, no public updates on arrests have been released as of December 25, 2025.
The case remains under investigation, with authorities relying on witness testimony to build their case. The incidents have raised concerns about youth-related crime in the Hüls district. No further details on legal proceedings have been made available at this time.
