Karlsruhe police arrest three in violent stabbing and drug trafficking case
Police in Karlsruhe have arrested three individuals on charges of attempted manslaughter and drug trafficking. The suspects, aged 23, 26, and 28, were detained after a series of coordinated raids across the city. Authorities also seized weapons, drugs, and cash during the operation.
The investigation began after a violent incident in September, when the three individuals allegedly stabbed and seriously wounded a person in the city centre. Officers searched six locations, including bars and private homes, as part of the operation. Seven individuals were questioned, though their identities and any links to the arrested individuals remain undisclosed.
During the raids, police confiscated various narcotics, a large sum of money, and several knives. The arrests follow a separate police operation at a nightclub over the weekend, though officials confirmed the two events are unrelated.
The three individuals now face charges for both attempted manslaughter and illegal drug dealing. Evidence collected during the raids will be examined as part of the ongoing investigation. Authorities have not released further details about the seven questioned individuals or their potential involvement.
