Karnataka Tensions Rise: BJP Defies Govt's Public Event Restrictions, Vows to Continue RSS Activities

Tensions rise in Karnataka as the government orders restrictions on public events, sparking a challenge from BJP leaders who vow to continue RSS activities. Minister Priyank Kharge has warned of legal action if the rules are not adhered to.

The Karnataka government has implemented a new rule, requiring all organisations to seek prior permission for events held in public spaces. However, BJP leaders have defiantly stated they will continue with RSS events as usual, despite the government's order. The challenge comes after Minister Priyank Kharge demanded a ban on RSS activities in public spaces, citing concerns over potential violations. Kharge has warned that legal action will be taken if the rules are not followed.

In response to the government's order, BJP MLA S.R. Vishwanath has encouraged party members to show solidarity by setting the RSS anthem 'Namaste Sada Vatsale' as their mobile ringtone. The search for the legislator who introduced the bill regulating public events in Karnataka has not yet yielded results.

The stand-off between the Karnataka government and BJP leaders continues, with the government insisting on prior permission for public events and BJP leaders determined to proceed with RSS activities. Minister Priyank Kharge has made it clear that legal action will be taken if the rules are not followed, leaving the situation in Karnataka in a state of uncertainty.
