Karnataka's Deputy CM Unveils Plans for Cubbon Park and High Court
Karnataka's Deputy Chief Minister, D.K. Shivakumar, has outlined plans for Bengaluru's Cubbon Park and the High Court, addressing various concerns and announcing developments. He has also acknowledged local issues and promised action.
Shivakumar has allocated ₹5 crore for Cubbon Park's refurbishment and upkeep. He plans to host cultural events and replicate its green spaces across Bengaluru. Regarding the High Court, Shivakumar has committed to finding a suitable alternative location within Bengaluru, consulting with the court and the government. He has also addressed local concerns, promising to discuss road white-topping in Chikpete and parking issues around the High Court. The government will review the request to relocate the High Court building.
