Kazakh Official's Suicide Prompts Criminal Probe

A criminal investigation is underway following the suspected suicide of Kuanysh Imashev, the 36-year-old head of the Land Relations Department in Atyrau’s Kurmangazy District. Imashev is believed to have taken his own life using a hunting rifle.
