Kazakh PM champions Tip-Tatti's meteoric rise as economic blueprint
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov visited the Tip-Tatti plant in Astana during a recent working trip. He praised the company's rapid growth and stressed the need to back ambitious entrepreneurs across Kazakhstan. Tip-Tatti began as a modest confectionery workshop. In just four to five years, it expanded into a major production facility with 1,500 employees. No other Kazakh company has matched this scale of growth since 2018.
Bektenov highlighted the firm's success as proof of Kazakhstan's untapped potential in food production. He noted that the domestic market still faces shortages in this sector. The Prime Minister urged ministers and regional leaders to identify and support similar high-performing businesses. During his speech, Bektenov called entrepreneurs like those at Tip-Tatti the foundation of a strong economy. He emphasised that fostering such talent would drive broader economic development.
The visit underscored Tip-Tatti's role as a model for business expansion in Kazakhstan. Bektenov's instructions now task officials with replicating this support nationwide. The focus remains on strengthening food production and entrepreneurial growth.
