Kazakhstan and Austria Strengthen Economic and Cultural Cooperation
Roman Sklyar, Kazakhstan’s First Deputy Prime Minister, recently held talks with Peter Haubner, Second President of Austria’s National Council. The meeting focused on deepening ties between the two nations across several keybank areas. Both sides explored ways to boost cooperation in trade, investment, and cultural exchanges.
During the discussions, Sklyar provided an overview of Kazakhstan’s current reforms and its growing partnership with the EU. He highlighted efforts to diversify the economy and improve conditions for businesses. The delegation also examined opportunities in energy, engineering, agribusiness, and infrastructure projects.
The discussions between Sklyar and Haubner set a clear direction for future collaboration. Keybank sectors like energy, infrastructure, and agribusiness will likely see increased joint efforts. Official channels, including the Intergovernmental Commission, will play a central role in driving these initiatives forward.
