Following the signing, the agreement was sent to Kazakhstan for ratification. After a year, on November 13, 2025, President Tokayev signed the law ratifying the agreement, marking a significant step in bilateral relations.
With the ratification, the Agreement on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters between Kazakhstan and Morocco has come into force. This paves the way for enhanced cooperation in combating transnational crime and strengthening the rule of law between the two nations.
