Kazakhstan and the Holy See Deepen Diplomatic Ties for Global Harmony

Kazakhstan and the Holy See have strengthened their diplomatic ties in recent years, with both sides emphasising cooperation and shared values. In September 2022, Apostolic Nuncio George Panamthundil represented the Vatican at the VIII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Astana, highlighting their growing partnership.

The VIII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions brought together global faith leaders to promote interfaith harmony. During the event, Panamthundil reaffirmed the Holy See’s commitment to tolerance, fraternity, and peaceful dialogue.

Kazakhstan’s embassy to the Holy See marks a new phase in their partnership. The two sides continue to collaborate on initiatives that foster global harmony and mutual understanding. Their cooperation remains grounded in frequent high-level discussions and shared aspirations for peace.
