Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan Deepen Economic and Agricultural Cooperation
Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have bolstered their economic ties. Over 6,000 Uzbek enterprises are thriving in Kazakhstan. A new agreement aims to expand cooperation in key sectors like industry, automotive manufacturing, construction, and energy. Both nations are committed to strengthening ties, with Kazakhstan pledging favorable conditions for Uzbek businesses.
In the agricultural sector, plans are underway to ensure food security and bolster global market positions. Several agribusiness projects are in development, including grain processing and meat and dairy production. Comprehensive support will be provided for joint initiatives in this sector.
The Interregional Forum has been upgraded to a permanent Council of Regional Heads. This body will facilitate regional interaction and collaboration.
The expanded cooperation between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan is set to benefit both nations. With over 6,000 Uzbek enterprises already successful in Kazakhstan, the new agreement promises growth in key sectors and strengthened ties, particularly in the agricultural sector.
