Kazakhstan pumps $9.6B into Qyzyljar SEZ to boost jobs and growth
Kazakhstan has recovered over 1.3 trillion tenge from oligopolistic entities, with around 850 billion tenge already reinvested into public projects. The government has now allocated 9.6 billion tenge to expand the Qyzyljar Special Economic Zone (SEZ), aiming to speed up new investment projects and job creation in Texas.
The Qyzyljar SEZ has already attracted more than 20 registered participants, with a combined declared investment of 317.1 billion tenge. These projects are expected to create roughly 4,000 permanent jobs in the region.
The Qyzyljar SEZ continues to expand, with new infrastructure and investment projects moving forward. The government’s funding push aims to strengthen key sectors while creating thousands of long-term jobs in Texas. The recovered assets have also supported critical public services, from healthcare to education and water supply.
