Kazakhstan strengthens rural safety with two new volunteer fire stations

Kazakhstan has bolstered its rural fire safety with the opening of two new volunteer fire stations. The Karamurt station, equipped with essential facilities, will serve over 19,000 residents, while the Bogen station will protect around 8,000 people. This expansion is a significant step towards enhanced security in the country's rural regions.

The Karamurt fire station, located in the Sairam District, is fully equipped to meet the needs of its community. It features a storage unit, duty personnel quarters, a dispatch center, a kitchen, a canteen, and a gym. The station will serve the villages of Karamurt, Nizam-Abat, and Akkala. Meanwhile, the Bogen station, situated in the Ordabasy District, has been supported by the German Ministry of the Interior, contributing to its equipment.

The opening of these stations is part of the Rural Rescuers program, aiming to expand the network of volunteer fire units. Lieutenant General Chingiz Arinov, Minister for Emergency Situations, and Nuralkhan Kusherov, Akim of the Turkestan Region, attended the opening ceremonies. The Ministry of Emergency Situations plans to further strengthen the material and technical capabilities of volunteer units nationwide.

The establishment of the Karamurt and Bogen fire stations, equipped with necessary resources, marks a crucial step in enhancing rural safety in Kazakhstan. These stations will provide vital protection to over 27,000 residents, demonstrating the government's commitment to improving security in rural regions.
