Kazakhstan’s Ambassador Strengthens Economic Ties with Germany’s Hesse Region

The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nurlan Onzhanov, recently visited the state of Hesse. During his stay, he met with key figures and attended events aimed at fostering bilateral cooperation.

Onzhanov's visit kicked off with a meeting with Hessian Minister for Federal and European Affairs, Manfred Pentz. They explored potential collaborations in various sectors, including trade, economics, investments, tourism, AI, and digitalization. The ambassador also highlighted opportunities for expanding cooperation in natural resources and raw materials.

The ambassador's itinerary included a visit to the Hessian State Parliament, where he signed the guestbook. He also enjoyed a meal with Hessian Minister Tarek Al-Wazir.

A significant part of the visit was dedicated to economic cooperation. Onzhanov held a round table with German economic representatives, including those from Erbacher + Kolb GmbH, DF Deutsche Forfait AG, and KfW Bankengruppe. A new media campaign, 'Kazakhstan: Born Bold', was presented to promote investment opportunities. Representatives from Kazakh Invest, Hessen Trade & Invest GmbH, and Industry and Commerce Chambers discussed potential areas of cooperation.

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan's visit to Hesse has strengthened ties between the two regions. With discussions on various cooperation prospects and the presentation of a new media campaign, the stage is set for enhanced economic and cultural relations.
