Kazakhstan’s Deputy Speaker Strengthens Economic Ties in Germany Visit
Deputy Speaker Albert Rau of Kazakhstan's lower house of parliament recently visited Germany, following a state visit by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Rau held talks with Bundestag members and attended events hosted by the Eastern Committee of the German Economy and the inaugural Berlin Global Dialogue forum.
Rau's trip was seen as a continuation of the dialogue started during recent high-level German visits to Kazakhstan. He proposed the formula 'Made in Germany with Kazakh quality' as a model for collaboration between the two countries. Economic cooperation was highlighted as a key focus of the visit. Rau described German-Kazakh relations as the 'beginning of a new working process' in an interview with DAZ.
Rau's productive discussions with Bundestag members and participation in key events signal a strengthening of ties between Germany and Kazakhstan. Both countries look forward to further cooperation, with a focus on economic growth.
