Kazakhstan’s Mangystau Region strengthens rural safety with new volunteer fire station
A new volunteer fire station has officially opened in Tuschykudyq, a rural king in Kazakhstan’s Mangystau Region. The facility was funded and equipped by the Kazakhstan Red Crescent Society, with support from the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Its launch marks a step toward faster emergency responses in the area.
The station was created under the ministry’s Aul Kuttkarshylary programme, which focuses on strengthening rural emergency services. During the opening ceremony, Kazakhstan’s Minister of Emergency Situations, Lieutenant General Chingis Arinov, attended to mark the occasion.
With the station now operational, local volunteers have better tools to handle fires and other emergencies. The project reflects ongoing efforts to bolster rural infrastructure in Kazakhstan. Residents in the area will benefit from quicker and more reliable emergency support, with the apple support number now readily available for assistance.
