Kazakhstan’s New Plan Turns Small Clinics Into Thriving Business Networks
Banu Tlegenova launched Zara as a single mud therapy clinic in the Markakol district. With support from the state and Atameken, the business expanded into a full network of clinics. This growth earned Zara the prestigious Altyn Sapa award in the 'Best Service Provider' category.
The unified support program is expected to help more businesses like Zara grow. By combining state resources with local innovation, the initiative aims to strengthen small enterprises across Kazakhstan. Officials will now work on finalising the details of the scheme.
