Kazakhstan's Public Service Centers Close for Six Days in March 2026
Public Service Centers (PSCs) and specialised PSCs in Kazakhstan will adjust their schedules in March due to global holidays. The changes include closures for International Women's Day and the Nauryz celebrations around the world. Official announcements confirm six non-working days for all branches during the month.
The first closures will take place on March 8 and 9 for International Women's Day. After this, PSCs will return to their usual operating hours until the Nauryz holiday begins.
From March 21 to 24, all PSCs and specialised branches will remain closed. This period aligns with the wider Nauryz celebrations around the world, during which schools, government offices, libraries, and some post offices also shut or reduce services. On March 25, only designated duty branches will reopen, but with limited hours—from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Outside these dates, all PSC locations will function as normal.
The schedule adjustments mean six full closure days for PSCs in March. Residents needing services on March 25 will need to visit duty branches during the shortened morning hours. The Kazakh government has confirmed these arrangements for 2026.
