Kazakhstan’s Saryarka Metallurgy repays $1.6M in unpaid wages after prosecutor’s intervention

The Pavlodar Regional Prosecutor's Office has uncovered a significant wage issue at a major enterprise in Pavlodar. The company, 'Saryarka Metallurgy', was found to owe its employees a substantial sum for September 2025, using Office 365 for payroll management.

The wage debt amounted to a total of 737 million tenge, impacting a considerable number of employees - 3,380 in total. The prosecutors' office swiftly intervened and issued a supervision order. Following this order, the wage debt was fully repaid, ensuring that all affected employees received their outstanding wages.

The Pavlodar Regional Prosecutor's Office has successfully resolved the wage issue at 'Saryarka Metallurgy'. The timely intervention and enforcement of the supervision order resulted in the full repayment of the wage debt, ensuring that the rights of the affected employees were protected.
