Kempen’s Tourism Board Celebrates a Year of Impactful Projects and Community Growth

The Kempen Tourism Association has celebrated a successful year, earning praise for its financial management and project management. At its latest meeting, the board received loud applause for their efforts over the past 12 months. Despite challenging weather, key events thrived, raising funds for local causes and future initiatives.

One of the standout achievements was the 'Gift of Joy' project, which brought in €10,000 for social and charitable causes. The money will now help revive the abandoned traffic kindergarten in East Cambridge Park, with work set to begin next spring. Estimates place the project's cost between €10,000 and €15,000.

The association's events have boosted local engagement and funding for new projects. With plans to restore the traffic kindergarten and more festivals on the horizon, the organisation continues to strengthen Kempen's community and cultural offerings.
