Kenton County Sheriff Elected to Lead Kentucky Sheriffs’ Association

Charles Korzenborn, the incumbent Kenton County Sheriff, has been elected as the new Secretary/Treasurer of the Kentucky Sheriffs' Association. The election occurred at the recent annual conference, attended by over a hundred sheriffs, deputies, and staff.

Korzenborn, who has served Kenton County since the late 1990s, is the longest-serving sheriff in the county's history. He left his family's automotive repair business to run for the position and has since dedicated his career to public service.

Before becoming sheriff, Korzenborn worked as a police officer. His commitment to improving the Office of Sheriff has been recognised by the Kentucky Sheriffs' Association. Jerry Watner, the association's Executive Director, praised Korzenborn for his positive representation and dedication to serving Kentucky's citizens. Korzenborn's current term as sheriff is set to end in December 2026.

With his election as Secretary/Treasurer, Korzenborn will play a key role in the Kentucky Sheriffs' Association's mission to enhance the Office of Sheriff through ongoing training and legislative updates. His experience and commitment make him an asset to the association and Kenton County.
