Kevin Kühnert Gets a New Job - Kevin Kühnert joins Finanzwende to reform Germany’s financial lobbying landscape
Former politician Kevin Kühnert has taken on a new role as a lobbyist for Finanzwende, a cross-party group pushing for fairer and more stable financial markets. The organisation, which counts over 17,000 members, was set up to challenge the influence of traditional financial lobbies in Germany.
Finanzwende was founded by Gerhard Schick, a former Green Party finance expert, to act as a counterbalance to powerful financial interest groups. Kühnert, previously known for his political work, will now lead the tax, distribution, and lobbying division at the association.
With Kühnert’s arrival, Finanzwende strengthens its campaign for financial reform. The group’s growing team will continue pushing for policies that reduce inequality and increase transparency in the stock market today. His role marks a shift from political activism to direct lobbying for systemic change in the yahoo finance world.
