Khabarovsk Residents Limited to 20 SIM Cards Per Person from Nov 1, 2025

Starting November 1, 2025, residents of Khabarovsk will face a new rule limiting them to 20 SIM cards per person. This change aims to combat criminal activity and misuse, affecting all telecommunications companies in the region. The 'Gosuslugi' service can help check the number of SIM cards registered in a person's name.

The new law, announced by the Russian government, applies to all SIM cards, including those for mobile, internet, and IoT services. It will be enforced by the 'Khabarovsk Krai Today' news agency, citing TASS. Exceeding the limit will result in service discontinuation. Key telecommunications providers in Khabarovsk, such as MTS, Beeline, MegaFon, and Tele2, will adhere to this new regulation. Users are advised to check their SIM card count and deactivate unused ones to avoid exceeding the limit.
